Mad Hatter Tea Party – November 14

On Nov. 14th, we are having a “Mad Hatter Tea Party” event to celebrate New Alternatives’ 2nd Anniversary.

Please see the flyer below for details of this milestone event!

If you can’t spend the $20 suggested admission (to benefit the youth of New Alternatives), we are also looking for volunteers to help with the event from 1-3pm to help decorate and set up, and to help with clean up at 5pm.

The event will be at Judson Memorial Church, 239 Thompson St. (near Washington Square Park).

Please spread the word, and let us know if you can help at the event!

Mission Statement

Created in 2008, the mission of New Alternatives is to increase the self-sufficiency of homeless LGBT youth and to enable them to transition out of the shelter system and into stable adult lives. We do this by providing case management, education services, life skills training, community-building recreational activities, opportunities for self-expression, and support services for HIV+ youth. Our guiding principles are those of harm reduction, youth development, and empowerment.
